Forestry mulching in Lebanon, TN

Brush, saplings and cedar ground into mulch right where they stood, with your good trees left standing.

How we do it

Efficient clearing, minimal ground disturbance.

Forestry mulching clears brush and small trees in a single pass.

It leaves the ground covered and protected, not torn up.

Material is ground into mulch where it stands, with no burn piles and no brush to haul.

It opens up wooded lots and fence lines while the trees you want stay in place.

Our process

Our mulching process.

  1. Walk the property

We agree on what is cleared, what stays and where openings are needed.

  2. Mulch the growth

Brush and saplings are ground in place while the trees you keep are protected.

  3. Leave the ground covered

Mulched material stays in place as a protective layer over the soil.

  4. Final review

We walk the area with you before equipment leaves the property.

Local ground

Cedar country

Eastern red cedar spreads quickly through Middle Tennessee pastures and fence rows.

Mulching returns it to the ground as cover and gives your hardwoods room to grow.

Questions

Mulching questions.

What size trees can you mulch?

Mulching is suited to brush, saplings and small trees.

Larger trees are evaluated case by case.

How does mulching compare with dozer clearing?

For underbrush and selective clearing, mulching is often the better fit.

It keeps topsoil in place, leaves ground cover and avoids burn piles.

What is left when you are done?

A layer of wood mulch and the trees you chose to keep.

Stump removal, grading and finish preparation are separate services when a project needs them.
